September 14,2010 we were blessed to have the Anthony Courter family of 11 children to visit our backyard town. We should all take lessons from this family on how to raise children. Not one time did the parents have to say a word to them. The old children took care of the younger ones. They ranged in ages from 2 years old to 21 years old. They listened and were the best behaved children I have ever seen. They blessed us before leaving with a song from the scriptures and once again they were awesome! Hope they come back soon!

We were honored to have Thomas and Hazel Murrah from Memphis, TN to celebrate their 57th wedding anniversary with us on August 2, 2010! What a wonderful couple and have they witness for our Lord Jesus Christ!

We have had several folks to ask about the inside
of the Train Station. We have told them about
the king size bed but we never knew how many
it would hold comfortably until this weekend.
We had three sisters get together this weekend:

We thought only two people would fit.
They showed us three people could fit!
Then Mike had to get in bed with these three
women to show 4 people could fit!!! You go honey!

Thanks for such an awesome weekend. This was probably one of the best annual get together with our friends with a big thanks to all of you. Both Mike & I were skeptical about staying at a bed & breakfast, but what a wonderful surprise. The accommodations were wonderful, the food absolutely delicious (and totally unexpected), but the hospitality was way beyond words. We felt like family the whole time we were there.

Clarence and Carole Gresham were here celbrating his 64th birthday from Seymour, Tn near Knoxville. They really enjoyed the old cars and 4 acres of antiques.

They will soon be celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary. They were accompanied by their dear friends Ted & Verneta Wille from Crossville, Tn who will be celebrating their 50th anniversary soon. They also had their friends Richard and Dorothy Kirst from Maryville, TN. They were a blessing to have here. God Bless You All!

Dear Cathy,

We arrived home safe and sane, after a long trip and so many miles on our backs. Our USA cross country was wonderful and we came back with a lot of good memories and some extra weight on our bodies. Thanks all for making us feel home, especially Cathy & Clint who presented us with such a yummy breakfast as well.

Early this morning June 18,2009 Ladybug gave birth to a 15# baby boy. We named him Junebug. He has very long legs and lots of pretty markings on both sides with 4 white feet!

We had guests from near and far today, June 16, 2009. We were honored to have Marta Caixas & Enric Silvestre from Barcelona, Spain. They found us on the internet and they flew to visit USA to Chicago for 3 days and then to Martin to stay in our B&B and tour the town. We hope they have safe trip home and come again with baby. Have fun in New Orleans and Las Vegas! We were also joined for their second visit by Thomas and Judith Little celebrating their 47th anniversary from Puryear, TN. Both couples have a very romantic dinner at the Opera House downtown Martin!

Adam & Gina Ragan spent the night in the Train Station. It was so good to see these honeymooners have such a good romantic time here at the Bed & Breakfast. Adam just had to pose in the Ragan Room he helped build during his college years! Come back soon!

We were sad to say good-bye to our friends Jim & Kelly Germain from E.Bethel, Minnesota! It took them 2 days to get here and they stayed from Saturday April 11 thru Thursday April 16, 2009. What fun we had with their gift basket full of made in Minnesota gifts! Once in a while we get folks like them we consider family when they leave.

Today April 11th we just had to say good-bye to 3 day visitors from Aukland, New Zealand. Joan Kraft and her daughter Sarah were a delight to have here in Martin checking out our UTM college!! Hopefully she'll be back in a couple of years.
